SPICY ARRABBIATA MEATBALLS

SHOPPING LIST

  • 1 pack of Epicure Arrabbiata Seasoning Mix

  • 15 ready-made meatballs

  • 1 onion

  • 1 red pepper

  • 1 tube of Epicure Chopped Garlic (or a fresh garlic bulb)

  • 1 tube of Epicure Sun-Dried Tomato Paste

  • 2 tins Epicure Italian Chopped Tomatoes

LET'S COOK...



  1. Fry the meatballs in a splash of oil in a large pan over a medium heat until brown all over. Remove them and set aside on a plate.

  2. To the hot pan add the onion (finely diced) and fry until soft, before adding a desert spoon of garlic paste (or 2 crushed garlic cloves if using), sliced red pepper and 3 tabelespoons of sun-dried tomato paste.

  3. Sprinkle over the Epicure Seasoning Mix, stir well and cook for 1 minute before stirring-in the tinned tomatoes and about 200ml water.

  4. Finally add back the meatballs, nestling evenly in the sauce. Turn down the heat slightly and simmer gently for about 10 minutes.


Serve with freshly cooked spaghetti or penne, together with a generous serving of parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
